Why Weavo needs PRICAT + ORDRSP + DESADV

Retailers spend a lot of time manually entering product details like GTIN/EAN, images, descriptions, colors and prices — and they also need to update order and shipment details for every delivery.

Weavo automates this by importing master data and shipment information so resellers get products in-store and online faster, with fewer errors and less manual work.

To automate the full flow end-to-end, Weavo needs all three:
  • PRICAT (product/master data)
  • ORDRSP (order confirmations)
  • DESADV (shipments/packing slips)

Edifact on SFTP

  • Automated uploads to Weavo SFTP (best for continuous automation).
  • We’ll agree on folder structure and naming conventions.
  • We provide hostname, username and credentials.

Excel/CSV on SFTP

  • Automated upload of exports to Weavo SFTP.
  • We’ll agree on naming conventions and folder structure.

Excel/CSV on Email

  • Send Excel/CSV files as email attachments to Weavo.
  • Make sure new ORDRSP/DESADV files are sent when created.

Edifact on Email

  • Send EDIFACT files as email attachments to the Weavo EDI inbox.
  • Send whenever new PRICAT/ORDRSP/DESADV files are generated.

Email sharing requirement

If you choose an Email option, the files must be sent automatically from a system (e.g. ordersystem) and not depend on a person manually sending emails.
